Year in Review: 2024
2024 has been an extraordinary year for Anzen Technology Systems. From collaborating with NATO allies to showcasing our innovative solutions at major industry events, the past 12 months have been a whirlwind of progress, validation, and development. We’ve achieved significant milestones, enhanced our core technologies, and set the stage for an even more ambitious 2025.
As the year draws to a close, we want to highlight some of our key achievements and share our vision for the year ahead. We’ll also provide a glimpse into topics we’ll explore further in future articles and reports.
AnzenStore V1.1.13
Q1-Q2 2024
Last year, we completed a major re-platforming of our flagship product, AnzenStore, transitioning to a microservices 'secure by design' architecture, for improved resilience, observability, and performance. While foundational work was completed in 2023, this year saw us refine and enhance the platform further.
- Increased performance optimisation; Addressing key areas identified during stress testing.
- Further AWS S3 API Compliance; Extending support for unique edge cases.
- Improved Documentation; Enhanced internal and user-facing materials.
- Sought out external validation; Including rigorous security assessments by an allied defence ministry.
As we close 2024, AnzenStore has reached its most robust and feature-complete state yet, setting new benchmarks in security, performance, and usability.
NATO DIANA Accelerator Programme
Q1-Q2 2024
We were honoured to be invited to join the inaugural cohort of the NATO Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA) programme. Over six months, we developed a proof of concept for “AnzenEdge,” an application of our ASR technology tailored for securing data at the edge. Assigned to the Tehnopol accelerator in Tallinn, Estonia, our leadership:
- Presented at Latitude59 showcasing AnzenEdge to an international audience in May.
- Collaborated and engaged with fellow dual-use technology innovators including GalTec, REVOBEAM, GIM Robotics, Lobster Robotics, Dronetag, IceWind, Goldilock, and AVoptics.
- Engaged Stakeholders by demonstrating our solution to national and private defence industry leaders at closed events.
Having successfully completed “Phase 1,” we’re excited to advance AnzenEdge in 2025, building partnerships and further integration with AnzenStore to achieve interoperable and data-centric “Edge to Cloud” post-quantum data security.
NATO HQ Technical Workshop
Q2 2024
We were invited to NATO’s headquarters in Brussels to present our ASR technology at a technical exchange workshop. Discussions focused on NATO’s evolving digital security requirements and how Anzen solutions could be applied to address these critical needs.
Veritas Partnership & Validation
Q2-Q3 2024
In collaboration with Veritas Technologies, we successfully completed interoperability testing and achieved integration of AnzenStore with Veritas NetBackup. Following extensive testing at Veritas C-Lab, AnzenStore has been certified and our company recognised by Veritas as one of their select ‘360 Defense Partners’
As we transition into the go-to-market phase of this partnership, we’re looking forward to unlocking the full potential of our collaboration with Veritas (now merged with Cohesity) in 2025.
Enhanced Observability Tooling
Q3 2024
By expanding observability within the AnzenStore ecosystem with OpenTelemetry integration, we can provide richer metrics, logs, and traces. This enables users to monitor performance and ensure secure operations with greater precision.
Upgraded API & Documentation Model
Q4 2024
Our engineering team introduced a new model for public-facing APIs, ensuring consistency between implementation and documentation. Key highlights include:
- Dynamic API Generation: Streamlined design and robust testing processes.
- Improved Security: Introduced safeguards to alert developers of gaps in testing or documentation.

Infrastructure as Code
Q4 2024
Building on previous collaborations with technology partners, we extended our automated deployment capabilities with Terraform scripts. These scripts now support:
- Rapid installation and configuration of required infrastructure.
- Compatibility with AWS and Microsoft Azure.
As we look back on 2024, we’re proud of how far we’ve come. Our progress reflects the dedication of each team member and the trust of our partners.
2025 promises to be even more transformative as we continue to innovate, collaborate, and push the envelope in post-quantum data security development.
